Chicago 1- Day Candle Maker MasterClass will include one packed day of learning about candle making, mastering the art of wax, wicks and scents.  In depth training on Sales and Marketing and how to have a confidence in selling your products as well as Social Media implementation.

This workshop will cover multiple waxes, wicks, placement, various jars and containers, everything that you need to know and walk away confident in starting your candle business. 

We want to cover all the steps that trip beginners up and end up costing thousands in time and materials. 

Along with candle making we will be covering numerous stumbling blocks on the business side from social media and how to attack it. To setting up your first market and getting wholesale orders from stores.

The workshop will supply you with all the needed materials, nothing needed to purchase beyond the ticket and you also get to take home all candles you make during the day. 

We will begin promptly at 9:00am as we have a lot to cover and we want to make sure everyone gets all the information they came for.

8:00 - Snacks and coffee

8:30 - Introductions and what the day will cover.

9:00 - Wax 1, 2, wicks, jars, oils, basics.

9:30 - Wax 3, 4, wicks, jars, oils, basics.

10:00 - Business session - Social media, branding

11:00 - Double wicking, triple wicking, pouring.

11:30 - Business session - Essential oils, fragrance oils, unique scents. 

12:00 - Lunch

1:00 - Wicking unique containers, how to wick.

2:00 - Business sessions - Sales, markets, stores and wholesale, shipping and costs.

3:00 - Finishing your candles, Candle container labeling, and design discussion

4:00 -  Business session - Promoting your product online, locally, influencers.

5:00 - Wrap up the day

Evening - Dinner and QA for VIP ticket holders
